APA 201A 6:00PM-8:00PM (Please read entire email): studorg.apa

Greetings my people,

First I would like to start out by apologizing for spelling Eretria incorrectly last week, I thought I caught it in spell check. I didn’t. Secondly read entire email!!!!!!

The event is one where people outside of the Cercle Français/Maison Française cercle will be able to learn about the Francophone world. We will have Quebec, the Caribbeans, France and Africa represented. Each country/continent will have its own table, where students will learn facts, but also hear some music, play a game, eat a regional dish, and make a craft from that continent/country. The participants will be given passports at the entrance, and they will be stamped as they visit each country. There will also be a big trivia game with prizes going on in the middle of the room.

As far as performances go, we will have the Steel Drum band playing at 8 PM, and we would REALLY like for the Africana Dance Troop to come on at 9 PM. We were hoping the performance to be about 20 minutes.

ACU is hosting Elliot Chang!

TUES NOVEMBER 3 at 8pm in the STUDENT UNION BALLROOM
I REPEAT TUES NOV. 3 Elliot Chang will be at BGSU Student Ballroom. Youtube him, he is so funny I laugh looking at him. He is so funny, that you should go see him. He will be doing stand up comedy and tickets are $5 with group rate discounts. It sold out two years ago and tickets are going faster than something that goes really fast like free food…………..

APA General Staff meeting this Friday October 30, 2009 in the student union room 201A from 6-8pm. All I have to say is prizes in our trivia game that I (kofi imma gyebi) made myself which will not favor either side of Africa. Free prizes and relaxation with friends. I will also be making popcorn, we will have some free FRIED CHICKEN, SOME BROWN RICE, and more free food. We will present some information as usual, and eat. PLEASE, PLEASE, last week we agreed that if each member brought one or $2 we could raise more than enough money for the INVISIBLE CHILDREN. PLEASE do not forget your money for donations. Sorry for the long email, but there is a lot going on. Peace, blessings, happiness, and good health upon all of you.

Thank You,
Immanuel Gyebi
